2024 Beneficiaries

West Palms Events is delighted to announce the winners of our 2024 Michael Nyuis Foundation Grant. Thank you to our committee members, who worked hard to review 110 applications.

Abbie Papka

Age: 25

Goals for 2024: This year I want to focus on giving my young horses a great educational experiences in and out of the show ring. With my more made horse, I want to build the consistency and confidence to move up to some 1.35-1.40m level classes later this year.

Adrina Player

Age: 17

Goals for 2024: My horse-related goals for 2024 are to be able to qualify for the Las Vegas Nationals. I also hope to own a horse and show at 1.10m before the season is over.

Alexandra Creger

Age: 16

Goals for 2024: My goals for this year are to improve my consistency and learn as much as I possibly can.

Bella Sevigny

Age: 24

Goals for 2024: My horse related goal for the year is to gain experience in the ring at the Grand Prix level.

Camille Panuwat

Age: 17

Goals for 2024: My goals are to qualify for national 3’6″ Equitation medal finals and successfully compete in 1.20m Jumper classes.

Chloe Reifert

Age: 21

Goals for 2024: This year I plan to improve my riding in and out of the show ring through more experience. I hope to move up divisions as well as refine my current riding. I also wish to network and gain more connections.

Enaya Carroll

Age: 14

Goals for 2024: I am starting this year off in the 1.20m Jumpers. I hope to end my year in the 1.35m Jumpers and compete in more Equitation classes. I also want to compete in the USHJA Zone Championships.

Goals for 2024: My horse related goal for this year is to develop more horses to ride in the Young jumpers

Goals for 2024: My goals for the year are to compete in the Children’s Jumpers, the PCHA Jumper Championships, USHJA National Championships in Vegas and Zone Championships.

Julian Harrison

Age: 14

Goals for 2024: My equestrian goals for 2024 are to show in hunter derbies and medal classes. I also want to get more experience in the show ring and continue to take my riding to the next level.

Kiera Alexandrian

Age: 16

Goals for 2024: My goals for the 2024 show year are to be showing consistently and successfully in the 1.0m-1.10m. I also want to gain confidence in the show ring and improve on all levels of my riding.

Lola Reed

Age: 14

Goals for 2024: My horse related goals for 2024 are to improve and learn the most I can. I would like to move up to the 1.10m-1.20m Jumpers.

Maddie Allen

Age:  18 

Goals for 2024: I would love to compete at Maclay, Dover and NorCal Junior medals finals as well as Junior Hunter Finals to finish out my junior career! 

Madeline Ang

Age: 18

Goals for 2024: My goals for 2024 are to be successful in the 1.30m and 1.40m jumpers and medal at Platinum Jumper Championships.

Madison Hanneman

Age: 17

Goals for 2024: My goals for the 2024 show season include being competitive in the Low Junior Jumpers.

Mason Milo

Age: 16

Goals for 2024: My goals are to attend Junior Hunter Finals, Maclay Finals, NorCal Medal Finals at West Palms Events and qualify for Nationals in Vegas for Junior Equitation and Junior Hunters. I’m also really hoping to get some catch rides in the Jumpers to continue my progress in that arena.

Morganne Craig

Age: 16

Goals for 2024: My horse-related goals for the year are to start competing at the 1.20m level as well as to make it to the USHJA Zone 10 Championship.

Olenka Fedorowycz

Age: 21

Goals for 2024: My goal for 2024 is to be the best rider I can be and to be consistent in the Hunter ring. I would also love to step into the Adult Amateur Hunters and a USHJA National Hunter Derby.

Taryn McEntire

Age: 16

Goals for 2024: I aspire to qualify for the ASPCA Maclay Finals, Dover Finals, and Washington Finals.I also aim to compete in the 3’6” Hunters, Talent Search West, Gladstone Cup, and 1.20m Jumpers. 

Zacko Hardin

Age: 18

Goals for 2024: My goals are to compete in a National Standard Grand Prix and to bring along my young horses and get show mileage for them.
